is active in France in three main sectors: treatment of special industrial
wastes, waste valorization by recycling and regeneration, services
and consultation regarding the environment, particularly engineering
, decontamination and site rehabilitation, collection and waste transportation.
The group operates 26 industrial sites in 14 countries.
TREDI
follows an international development strategy by partnership implementation
projects or by buyout projects in Europe, Asia, the American continent
and the Pacific zone. Its recent acquisition by Séché
Environnement, a firm that is active in all aspects of waste management,
will enhance this development.
In
the year 2001, the turnover reached 169 million euros, a 7% increase.
TREDI employs close to 1,500 people.
The
Cintec
Group
formed a partnership with Tredi, called Cintec·Tredi
Inc. for the construction and management of projects for municipal
solid waste, industrial residues and hazardous waste in various areas
in the world.
This
private Italian company has been active for over 20 years in research
activities as well as technology engineering and decontamination prototypes
for the industrial sector.
Over
the years, Ecolsir's research activity
resulted in several patents among which are those linked to the decontamination
of electrical equipment and of electrical fluids contaminated with
PCBs.
Installations
designed and developed by Ecolsir in
this field are present today in the Far East, Europe, North and South
America..
The
association between Ecolsir and the Cintec
Group led to Ecoldec Inc., a company
devoted to the development of markets for the decontamination of PCB
contaminated electrical equipment.
