The growth in environmental awareness and the concerns of public health, added to the reinforcement of the legislations and rules for the management of contaminated soils now makes the rehabilitation of sites to occupy the front scene.
It is sites that:
· represent a risk for the public’s health,
· are subject to reusable projects or
· have a significant impact on the environment,
that the Policy for the protection of soils and the rehabilitation of contaminated sites of the ministère du Développement durable, de l’Environnement et des Parcs (Quebec’s Ministry of the Environment), are targeted as priority situations requiring an absolute intervention.
The rehabilitation projects realized by the Cintec Group include these types of situations and have contributed to the development of an expertise in the choice of an appropriate approach to various problematics and rehabilitation targets.
