This system integrates the "3Ts" of
combustion - time, temperature and turbulence.

· Contaminated soils, solids and liquids are introduced into the
incinerator's combustion chamber;
· In the cyclone, the centrifugal
effect recirculates the solid particles to the combustion chamber, thus
constituting the combustion loop;
· Treated soils and solids are
removed from the combustion loop and are cooled by the extraction conveyor;
· The fine particles recuperated
at the baghouse are then reintroduced with the treated material;
· The hot gases are evacuated and
guided towards a flue gas cooler.

· The following
gases at the stack undergo continuous monitoring: sulfur dioxide, carbon
monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides and total hydrocarbons. Opacity and
hydrochloric acid are also monitored on a continuous basis;
· This incinerator does not
require an emergency stack and does not produce liquid effluents;
· Acidic gases are neutralized in
a dry scrubber;
· Injection of activated carbon
at the scrubber is also possible.
